Guided Meditation

02 - Gratitude, Confession & Guidance

This Guided Meditation, based on the ancient Prayer of Examen, will help you practice gratitude, confession, guidance, presence, and mindfulness. It is 13 minutes and set to modern music and visuals.

The Prayer of Examen is a form of prayer created by St. Ignatius of Loyola (1491–1556), a Spanish priest and theologian who founded the Jesuit order in 1534 and was one of the most influential figures in the Counter-Reformation. His Prayer of Examen is a traditional and simple way to encounter Jesus in everyday life and has been used by Christ-followers for hundreds of years since. This meditation and others can be used repeatedly throughout your week whether in the morning, noon time, evening, whether it be during a meal, commute, workout, or a sacred time in your day set apart for the Lord. They were produced jointly by WILD and MT12, and it is our hope that you will find them helpful in experiencing the presence and voice of Jesus.
